Say Hi to Batty!
Please let me introduce Solomons Batty Ballerina.
She is daughter to the very dominant Heather and Ellington. They have both been introduced to you, so you will probably be aware that Heather is very hard to manage, the guardian of the herd, she is full of her own self importance! Ellington is much the quietest of the big boys, very vocal, and was a show stopper in his youth.
Batty has inherited both her looks and temperament from her dad thankfully. Although she looks a bit macho, like her dad, she is easy to handle and very tolerant of… well pretty much everything!
She also has the distinction of being the biggest of last years female cria. In fact she is as big as some of the fully grown girls.
By the way, she is called Batty Ballerina because when she was born (our second ever cria, same day as our first one) she didn’t bond very well with her mum and used to charge round the field, rushing up to every adult female, and sort of twirl arround seemingly unable to spot her real mum. We wondered if she was blind at first, but she soon sorted it out thank goodness.
Such a sweet girl.🥰
