Beaver scout visit.

We hosted a visit from 21 Beaver scouts from the Shedfield 1st scout group this week. I have to say I was a little apprehensive about mixing so many children with 33 alpacas, even with eight adults in tow, but I need not have worried. Due to Charlotte Sampsons care and organisation it all went very well indeed.

The children were polite and quiet round the animals as requested, even though they were very excited about the visit.
The alpacas seemed to think the whole visit was a treat put on especially for them. They certainly enjoyed the beautifully chopped veg which the children gave them. All in all a great visit.
Here’s what the Beaver’s thought of their visit:
Shedfield Beavers visited Solomons Alpacas as part of our Explore badge. Nikki and her team made us feel very welcome, told us lots of interesting facts and answered all of our questions. We loved meeting and feeding the alpacas . It was great fun and an educational evening that was enjoyed by everyone – thank you for letting us visit.

Look at those faces!
