Solomons Alpacas are proud to be part of the British Alpaca Society Trusted Seller Scheme; so you can rest assured that you will have all of the support that you need, regardless of where you are in your alpaca journey.
Whether you are a breeder looking to add colour to your herd with a single animal, a pet buyer, a prospective breeder or trekking destination, we can supply suitable animals for you. We have show quality males and females, open and pregnant females. Whatever type you are looking for, please just ask. We do specialise in grey and dark colours and have some lovely females looking for their forever homes.
Alpacas for Sale & Stud Services
Solomons Alpacas always have animals for sale, from yearling, pet boys, to Stud males and both open and pregnant females. We can offer a range of discounted packages to suit most requirements. As alpacas are herd animals, we will not sell a lone alpaca to a prospective new owner. Our alpacas will only be sold in groups of three, or more, unless joining an established herd/breeder. We want to ensure that when our alpacas leave us, they will be going to a fabulous, five star, loving home; and that both they, and you, are happy.
If you are interested in becoming an alpaca owner, especially for the first time, we are happy to arrange an alpaca experience day (at a reasonable cost and with no obligation to purchase) where you can immerse yourself in the life of our farm giving you a chance to spend some time with these magical animals, and decide if they are for you. Nikki is an affiliated British Alpaca society trainer, and can facilitate training days, both for novices and perhaps, first time breeders. Expecting your first cria? I can guide you in what to expect, and how to deal with emergencies, and when to call the vet!
We will always be on the end of the phone to support any purchaser and to act as mentor for as long as they may need us. We can also provide a list of recommended books to help prepare you for your new adventure.
