Apollo Ellington.

Ellington is one of our herd sires. He is 1/2 brother to our own Betsy, Estelle and Emmanuelle. He is also dad to Solomons Batty Ballerina (I will introduce her soon) and we are expecting a full sister or brother to her this year. It will be interesting to see what colour is produced. White is dominant, and this was demonstrated by Batty being white when her mum is dark brown.
Ellington had a fair amount of success when he was shown as a youngster, with several first places to his name. Not to be sniffed at when white is always a big class.
He’s a big softy and a bit of a clown. He likes to roll in the mud, and had been seen to roll near the edge of our stream, get too close, and fall in backwards! The first time I saw him do it I thought we were going to have to bring in the big guns to pull him out, but he managed to right himself and reappeared, looking very sheepish and very muddy.
He is available for outside matings.
